Cycle Route and Groups

Pre-booking is essential though so that we can allocate people to an appropriate ride and ensure that we have sufficient bikes.

One other thing: all the Purfleet rides are free for those registered with the Children's Centre; the Thorndon rides are free for the first two sessions and then £3 per ride. This is to cover the cleaning, service and maintenance of the bikes.

Gateway Cycling club are beginning the New Year in the saddle with a slow steady ride starting at the Davy Down Visitors Centre, off Pilgrims Lane Grays. Meeting at 10.30 Friday 1st January 2010. A flat ride towards Purfleet (RSPB centre) and back, all off road, about ten miles or so.
